An Update on Updates
Hey, everyone!
It’s been a little while since our last big update, so we wanted to take a moment to fill you in on what we've been working on behind the scenes. We’ve got some exciting changes coming to the server very soon!
Season 4
Development on the next season of Survival is already underway, and we’re aiming for a release sometime in summer 2026. Season 4 will be one of our biggest updates yet, featuring new custom blocks and items, unique enchantments, expanded biomes, brand-new dimensions, and much more!
Given the scale of this update, we’re getting an early start to make sure everything is polished and ready by launch. That said, Season 3 is still very much alive—and will continue to receive new updates right up until the release of Season 4.
Before we dive into the next major project on Prism, we want to address how a project of this size might affect some members of our community:
Due to technical limitations, Season 4 may not be fully compatible with certain Bedrock clients. As the amount of custom content grows, we’re hitting the limits of what’s possible while supporting both Java and Bedrock players on the same server. Unfortunately, this has already led to issues where the Bedrock experience is less polished than we’d like—things like custom biomes, seasonal effects, menus, and display entities either don’t work properly or don’t show up at all.
Because of this, future seasons of Survival may exclusively support Java clients. But don’t worry—we're working on a new experience designed especially with Bedrock users in mind:
Vanilla (with sprinkles!)
Coming later this year to Prism Party, this is a new, streamlined version of Survival that captures the spirit of classic Minecraft—with just a few fun twists!
This server is being built with full Bedrock compatibility as a priority, but it’s open to anyone looking for a more classic, back-to-basics survival experience. It’ll offer a bit more of a challenge compared to our main Survival server, while still being approachable and fun for players of all kinds.
Skyblock
Skyblock has been teased for a while now—and we’re excited to share that it’s officially back in active development! You can expect a release close to the launch of Season 4.
We’re keeping the details under wraps for now, but stay tuned for sneak peeks and the announcement of a Beta Testing phase!
