Caves and Cliffs!
...Kinda! We're still waiting for most of our plugins to update to the newest version. Still, we didn't want to leave anyone waiting to play the latest update, so we've started up a temporary survival server!
This server runs the latest release of 1.17 with the 1.18 preview datapack. So, unlike the standard version of 1.17, our server supports the new caves and world-depth features that will come in the 1.18 release at the end of the year.
The server is up now, so hop on through the NPC in the hub!
- How long will the Caves and Cliffs server be open?
- Until Prism Survival officially updates to 1.18. Needless to say, it will be open for a while; 1.18 isn't even in snapshots yet!
- When we take down the server, we'll let everyone download the world backup, then grief it.... as per the standard on Prism Party. :)
- What plugins are currently in the Caves and Cliffs server?
- None, essentially. As we're still waiting for plugins to update, most features from our main Survival server have yet to make it to Caves and Cliffs. We'll be adding more plugins as they're updated.
- Oh... and feel free to suggest any, too!
- Is this the reset?/What will happen to main Survival?
- This is NOT the server reset. Nothing will happen to the main Survival server until 1.18 is officially released. This is only a temporary server in place until then.
SERVER RULES (standard rules, essentially)
- No griefing or stealing.
- No hacks or exploits.
- Be respectful.
- PvP is enabled, but don't abuse it.
- Have fun (mandatory)

- Hard Difficulty
- KeepINV enabled
- Overworld (with caves), Nether, and The End
- Worldborder at ~25k
Everything above is subject to change, per request. We mostly just want everyone to have fun doing their own thing. (So, don't take that away from others! Be good!)
That said, we want to do something a BIT different with this test server.... We want to try establishing a sort of "theme" for this server. This server's theme is fantasy kingdom.
Sorta like a build theme, we'd love to see everyone's base be an interpretation of this style. Whatever it means to you, go for it! I'm going to be building a giant dwarvish castle for my base. :)
Of course, this is just a fun little optional thing. You don't HAVE to build in any sort of style, but we encourage you to try it if you're looking for something to do!
