Seasons is an World plugin on Prism Party.

Seasons

March 4th - June 3rd

Spring

• Snow and ice from Winter begins to melt.
• The world takes on a more lush, verdant, hue.
• Water becomes slightly light blue.
• The sky becomes lighter, with a faint light green fog.
• Flowers can be found growing wild in most biomes.
• Leaves from most trees will begin to blossom later into the season.
• Animals, such as cows; sheep; pigs; and rabbits, will begin to spawn with 3-5 babies.
• Fireflies have a chance of appearing on some nights.
• The length of day and night are roughly equal.
• Rain is 30% more common.

June 4th - September 3rd

Summer

• Flowers from Spring begin to wilt.
• The world appears less vibrant—or even drier—in some biomes.
• Patches of berry bushes begin to generate everywhere.
• Fireflies have a chance of appearing on some nights.
• Shooting stars can occasionally be seen across the night sky.
• Leaves will occasionally fall from trees.
• Parrots and ocelots will appear outside of jungles.
• Rain is much more infrequent than usual.
• Crops exposed to sunlight will grow twice as fast.
• Days are 85% longer than nights.
• Husks will spawn instead of zombies.

September 4th - December 3rd

Autumn

• Berry bushes from Summer begin to wilt.
• The world takes on a muddier appearance.
• Leaves become a range of colors: Red, orange, yellow, brown, and green.
• The sky appears cloudier during the day.
• Rain is 30% more common.
• Mushrooms will begin to grow in most biomes.
• Bats will spawn more frequently above-ground.
• Spider spawn rates are increased, and cave spiders may rarely appear outside of mineshafts.
• Some mobs have a chance to spawn wearing a pumpkin.
• The length of day and night are roughly equal.
• It begins to snow in cooler climates.
• Mooshrooms will begin to spawn outside of Mushroom Islands.

December 4th - March 3rd

Winter

• Mushrooms from Autumn begin to die off.
• The world takes on a more muted appearance.
• The sky becomes lighter in most biomes.
• Water appears icier, losing its vibrant blue hue in most biomes.
• Exposed water blocks will begin to freeze in temperate and cold biomes.
• Snow begins to pile up in most biomes.
• Nights are 85% longer than days.
• Wolves, white foxes, polar bears, and snowmen have a chance of spawning everywhere.
• Strays will spawn instead of skeletons.
• "White sparks" can be visible on some nights.
• Crops outdoors (without a block above them) will not grow.

Get seasonal information

/season

See the current season, full date, current world time, and days until next season. If there's an active seasonal event, it will be displayed here, too. At this time, there are no custom seasonal events.

Get current biome

/currentbiome

Due to the method in which seasonal biome effects are applied, the debug overlay (including some mods) may inaccurately display the current biome. This command will display the actual biome a player is standing in as a chat message.

Toggle seasonal colors

/settings

Disable the visual effect of biomes changing colors depending on the season.

Toggle seasonal effects

/settings

Disable seasonal visual effects, such as particles.
