The Dungeons and Taverns plugin is a plugin that replaces and adds regular Minecraft structures with custom ones.

Structure Types:[edit]

The plugin has many structures, for both the Overworld and the Nether alike. Overworld:

  • Small Illager camp you may encounter during your travels!

  • The underground hideout of Illagers. It is a dangerous structure akin to a woodland mansion, so be sure you are prepared! Hideout maps can be found in taverns scattered throughout the world.

  • The massive sister of the regular woodland mansion. It houses similar loot, but also similar challenges. You can find a manor map in taverns scattered throughout the world.

  • The big cousin of the regular jungle temple. Consists of several buildings with a main temple. Certainly larger, but also more dangerous!

  • The witches got tired of the regular shambly wooden huts, so they made a new home! Houses similar loot.

  • Did you ever wonder whether the players were the first ones to inhabit this world? Do you like archaeology? Then this is the perfect structure for you! Explore old abandoned towns and even find some additional loot!

  • With the uncertainty of the barren landscape, even strays had to group up. Explore this massive fort made to resemble the works of the HBC.

  • Ever visited a Mesa before for some quick gold? Well, then this is the perfect location to find even more of that!

  • Ever afraid of your friend carpet bombing your builds? Well, then fear no more with this bunker. Contains several rooms with interesting loot!

  • Did you always find yourself attracted to the underwater life? This might be the perfect place for you then! It hosts a conduit and some archaeological sites for you to uncover!

  • Fire seems to be so commonplace around the world nowadays, even in Minecraft. With this firewatch tower, you can alert your friends in time as well as get some loot. Sounds like a win-win, right?

  • Can't you wait until 1.21 is released? Well, then this is the perfect replacement! It hosts similar characteristics to the Trial Chambers with loot and a spawner! Crypt maps can be found in taverns scattered throughout the world.

Did you always prefer the underground life? This might be the perfect structure for you then!
You can never have enough water, right?
The Wild Ruins are a collective of several different structures, such as small houses, dead redstone golems, and simple camps. They might not host a lot, but can certainly be your friends on your first few days.

  • For those that want to visit even more crypts, the world has the Creeping Crypts. These structures are centred around creepers, and may contain gunpowder, suspicious gravel and even a creeper spawner. Can only be found in taigas.

Ever thought the desert temples were boring? Well, this might solve that. Contains a walled city with a desert temple, and hosts far more dangers and rewards.
A regular village in the jungle biome.
A regular village in the swamp biome.
Making potions and spells can be quite tedious, even for witches. Therefore, the witches have made their own villa. Explore this big mansion and feel like Harry Potter in Hogwarts as you discover new potions, techniques, and loot!

Nether:

The nether creatures were tired of constant attacks, and hence created their own keep to strengthen their defence. Can you break through this keep protected by wither skeletons and blazes? Contains 3 blaze spawns.

Not to be confused with dungeons, a donjon is a megastructure in crimson forests and houses loot akin to the bastions of piglins. Be sure to look for hidden vault rooms!
Even piglins need to live somewhere, hence why they made these hamlets. Do you have what it takes to plunder these villages full of piglins?
Players and Villagers are not the only traders in this vast world. The nether inhabitants have created their own small ports, and have even installed firey guards to protect them.
With the nether being so vast and uninhabitable, the nether residents have to keep track of their land in some form. Explore these small camps held by skeletons and take their items!
Some nether regents have more wealth than others, and could invest in proper towers. Explore these towers protected by skeletons and steal their loot!
