Starbound is a 2D, pixel-based, action-adventure game developed by Chucklefish. The game features seven playable races, an infinitely procedurally generated universe, multiple planet-types to explore, quests, and hundreds of items to collect. Explore, build, fight, or collect: How you play is up to you!

For a limited time, Prism Party is hosting a community Starbound multiplayer modded server that anyone with the game on Steam can join! Here's how!

How to Join

Note: These instructions assume you have a fresh install of Starbound from Steam. If you already have Starbound installed, please make a backup of your storage folder and mods before proceeding. You will need to uninstall and unsubscribe from all Workshop content/mods to continue.

1. Make sure you have Starbound installed on your PC (either through Steam or a third party).
2. Subscribe to the PrismBound collection.
3. Download the latest version of the Raposa mod here. (This mod is not yet available on the Workshop, and must be manually installed and updated). and extract the archive to …/steamapps/common/Starbound/mods/
4. Launch the game and go to "Options". Ensure that "Allow assets mismatch" is enabled.
5. Finally, Select "Join game" and create a character. Connect to the server using play.prismparty.net.

Bound to Life	Adds Raposa from Drawn to Life as a playable race, complete with decorative items, blocks, and a new ship.

Workshop Collection

Mod	Description
No More Speedos	Simply adds boxers to the male sprites so that you don't walk around in a speedo.
Optimized Sprinkler	Optimizes vanilla sprinkler by emulating original behavior, but without the usage of projectiles which make a huge impact on performance.
Oceanic world cave reworked	Makes oceanic worlds have huge, water-filled caves instead of the vanilla caves.
Quest Manager Optimizer	Optimizes the frequency of how often the manager checks if the conditions for completing your current quests have been fulfilled. Boosts fps as well.
More NPC Ships	This mod adds several space dungeons.
Food Stack	Food Stack changes so food can stack up to 1000.
Combinable Augments	Combinable augments allows you to combine all of your augments, collars and fishing lures into a single piece of mastery.
SCS Crafting Stations	This mod merges 13 vanilla production stations into just three new ones, and also provides new furniture and reskinned versions of other stations.
Ceiling Mounted Sprinkler	This mod adds a ceiling mounted water sprinkler that is meant to match futuristic style builds. It covers 8-10 blocks and constantly waters.
Ruin Overhaul	The Ruin Overhaul mod aims to make the Ruin less of a dragged-out, dull battle by buffing its current attacks and adding new ones to test your skills.
Improved Parallax For Scorched Planets	This mod changes the background for Scorched/Decayed planets to more closely match the architectural style of the ruined buildings you encounter.
Arcana	Arcana is a growing techno-magic themed Starbound mod that features a vast amount of added content, including: New planets, new weapons, new armor, and new tiles and objects.
More Sensible Secondary Biome Distribution	This mod seeks to give the vanilla planets a more sensible array of secondary and microbiomes that may spawn in them, prioritizing realism whenever possible over progression.
