The Unstable Rift is a resource world in the world of Prism Party, filled with an abundance of resources compared to the Overworld or the Nether.
Rift Access[edit]
To access the Unstable Rift, one must craft an Unstable Key and be at least level 5. Use /crafting to access the menu and then head for this name. The most resource-efficient crafting recipe is 4 Shadow Ameliorate and 1 Paragon Crate Key (both of which can either be won from crates or purchased in /vshop), which will produce 4 Unstable Keys. Alternatively, 1 Shadow Ameliorate can be combined with 1 Paragon Key to produce a single Unstable Key. Once a player has a key, they must head to /warp rift to then enter the gate in front of them. From there, the Rift will become accessible for one hour for that player, and they will be prompted to download the world-exclusive resource pack.
Rift Landscape[edit]
The Unstable Rift is like hell, far more inhospitable than the regular Nether. It is home to a scorched earth plate made of igneous and metamorphic rock filled with lava lakes on the surface. Below its surface lie various caves and valuable minerals for one to gather.

Rift Dangers[edit]
The Unstable Rift would not be unstable if it were not for any dangers it possesses. The Rift is the home of Cubeol, a malevolent higher being that once roamed the regular Prism Party worlds. With its fate lying in this world, they have made this world exceptionally hard to traverse for Prismers, who will encounter strong groups of mobs on the surface and in caves on their own as they are out of the control of Cubey's might in this separate world. Furthermore, should you be wary of others. A player's appearance does not get transferred to this realm, and therefore one can not identify specific players. This unfortunate circumstance means that players can not identify each other and that one should always be careful when it comes to trusting others, as PVP and theft are allowed in this world.
Rift Tips[edit]
Below are some guidelines to keep to to get the best and safest experience in the Rift:
- Paragon Armour and tools (You will lose them on death)
- Any other thing you do not want to lose
- Go down the surface almost immediately using the 2-block-down strategy to avoid falling
- Avoid caves
- Strip-Mine your area
- Extinguish lava sources
- Time your experience. Account for the remaining time.
- Flee on sight of another player
- Be a good sport, and don't kill others (We are all here for the same purpose and there is enough to share)
- Remain on the surface for too long, unless you specifically seek the treasure chests there
- Enter caves, unless you seek treasure
- Dig below y=-60 without precautions (You risk falling into the void.
- Voluntarily engage in combat with people and mobs that are better equipped
Rift Lore[edit]
The Rift has its origins in an earlier version of it during the Christmas of 2022. Just before Christmas, a random portal, made by a then unknown power, would come to existence near spawn, which would lead to a snowy and festive temporary realm. Players were tasked with shaping this realm to their will to make this realm even more festive and Christmassy, before the rift closed after Christmas to never be seen again up to this point. With this as a prelude, this unknown power once again created a world several months later during the Spring of 2023, which would become this unstable, but permanent Rift; A hellish world. The unknown power behind these creations has since then been known as Cubeol, an evil counterpart and the predecessor of Cubey. This higher being named Cubeol was home to the old pre-1.18 Prism Party world, but had since been lost. With a malevolent goal, They had returned from their death to unsuccessfully take over Prism Party. Cubeol has since been withheld from entering Prism Party worlds by Cubey, and They can only exist in their own realm outside of Cubey's control (Verify this information!)
