Survival Download available now!

The transfer events are over, and there's nobody left in the world.

It's officially the End.

...for now.

Although we've taken Survival offline for the last time, you don't have to say good-bye to all the fun you've had in the old world. For a limited time, the old Survival world is available for download. You can download the world here (57GB)[link removed].

There are a few things to keep in mind when downloading this file, however.

  1. The file is a .tar.xz file. This is basically a compressed archive file, like .zip. You'll need a tool like 7Zip on Windows in order to extract this file. Tarball files are supported by default on MacOS and Linux.
  2. Due to file compression, you will likely need more than the initial 57GB in order to extract this file. Please allow yourself up to 80GBs to extract the full archive.
  3. Once extracted, you'll be presented with three folders. The "survival" folder should be moved to ".minecraft/saves/". You can find a tutorial online if you're not sure how to get here.
  4. If you don't care about the Nether or End, you can simply delete the assosiated folders. If you'd like to import them into your world, you'll need to follow the extra steps here[link removed].
  5. Due to how playerdata is stored in singleplayer vs multiplayer, you may enter the world with an empty inventory.
  6. This is just the world file! No plugins are included. This means that commands like /home will not function.
