The Economy is a core aspect of Prism Party's Survival experience. While players are free to play on Prism Party as they see fit—even ignoring all economy features if desired—most of the server's custom features tie into the server Economy to some degree.
Instead of dollars, the virtual currency on Prism Party are called "Gems" (₲).
Prism Party is a non-competitive server. While players are encouraged to collect Gems as part of engaging with the economy, there is no end-state; players cannot "win" by collecting more Gems than their piers, nor does having a higher balance afford users with more privilege than others.
Gems[edit]
Earning Gems[edit]
- Voting for the server
- Trading items via the Shops plugin.
Spending Gems[edit]
Notes[edit]
- There is no 1:1 conversion from any real-life currency to the server's virtual currency. Gems are not tied to any real monetary value.
- The Gems currency symbol (₲) is borrowed from the Paraguayan guaraní.
