The Shopping District, or Market, is a region of Spawnia on the Survival server. This region allows players to rent their own customizable shops to trade items with other players. The Shopping District makes heavy use of the server's Shop plugin as the primary means by which players conduct trade. All players are able to access the Shopping District without restriction, however players must be at least Level 5 in order to own a shop in the market.
As one of the larger regions of Spawnia, the Shopping District is split into two parts—North and South—accessible via /markets or their respective warps. Despite this, both halves are connected by a central plaza and thus fully accessible regardless of which warp was initially taken. There are 6 main roads (3 per each half) and 87 individual shops within the Shopping District. Each shop in the market has a unique address—a single letter, A-F, followed by a number—associating it to one of the 6 streets within the region.
Only shops which have been claimed by a player (as indicated by the holograms in front of each shop) can be entered. If a shop is open, players can walk through the door next to the address plaque of a shop to be transported to its interior. Unclaimed shops can be claimed, for free, at any time by players Level 5 or higher. Players are allowed only one shop per username, but can share their shop with other players, if requested. As a player continues to level up, shops can be upgraded twice to greatly increase the amount of space available inside.
All shops have be fully customizable interiors and can be modified to match the aesthetic of the owner. The exteriors of shops, however, cannot be modified.

North shops[edit]
The Item Barn is a special shop within the Shopping District containing infinite quantities of rare items not obtainable anywhere else on the server. Unlike player shops, this shop lacks an address. It is the first, and largest, shop visible from the North warp.

Shop ownership[edit]
Claiming[edit]
Players can request unclaimed shops using the /market command in game. Shops available to be claimed show up as gray numbers within this menu. To claim a shop, players must Right click their desired shop within the /market menu.
Upon right-clicking a shop, an alert will be sent to the Prism Party Staff team automatically. A member of the Admin group will be online to assist as soon as one is available. Players are only allowed to send one request every 20 minutes: After submitting a request, please stay online as you wait.
Rules[edit]
- Shops must be used as shops: Do not use your shop for storage or as a second base.
- Keep your shop stocked: Do not let a majority of your shops run out of stock.
- Players are allowed only one shop building. Do not try to claim multiple shops.
- Don't go inactive for more than ~3mo. Shops are in limited supply!
Leveling[edit]
As you continue to level up, your shop will level up with you! All players are able to claim a shop at Level 5, but at Levels 15 and 25 your shop is eligible for a free upgrade, allowing it to double in size twice. This process is NOT automatic. If you'd like an upgraded shop, contact Staff once you've reached the required level!
Warps[edit]
Once you've been given access to your shop, a member of Staff will grant you an additional, free, Player Warp to set at your shop. This warp will be the primary means by which other players visit your shop, outside of locating it via street address. Feel free to customize the name, icon, and price of your warp to your liking; so long as it brings players inside your shop, it's all yours to customize!
Notes[edit]
- While shop interiors may be customized fully to the liking of the owner, some materials (such as black concrete) are not allowed within shops due to technical limitations.
- The Shopping District contains three info-boards relating to the server Lore
- The Shopping District connects to the following other regions: Central Spawnia, Gemstone Park, Larimar Lake Homes & Hiland Apartments, Downtown Spawnia.
- The Shopping District opened as a result of the first Mayoral Election in which Gallaxx won.
- Shops come in different shapes and sizes! There is not a uniform shop layout.
- Shop interiors are located away from the main Shopping District. This is done to prevent players using large amounts of block entities (such as player heads) from causing lag to their neighbors.
