The Shopping District, or Market, is a region of Spawnia on the Survival server. This region allows players to rent their own customizable shops to trade items with other players. The Shopping District makes heavy use of the server's Chest Shop plugin as the primary means by which players conduct trade. All players are able to access the Shopping District without restriction, however players must be at least Level 5 in order to own a shop in the market.

As one of the larger regions of Spawnia, the Shopping District is split into two parts—North and South—accessible via /warp NorthMarkets and /warp SouthMarkets respectively. Despite this, both halves are connected by a central plaza and thus fully accessible regardless of which warp was initially taken. There are 6 main roads (3 per each half) and 87 individual shops within the Shopping District. Each shop in the market has a unique address—a single letter, A-F, followed by a number—associating it to one of the 6 streets within the region.

Only shops which have been claimed by a player (as indicated by the first-floor windows) can be entered. If a shop is open, players can walk through the door next to the address plaque of a shop to be transported to its interior. Unclaimed shops can be claimed, for free, at any time by players Level 5 or higher. Players are allowed only one shop per username, but can share their shop with other players, if requested. As a player continues to level up, shops can be upgraded twice to greatly increase the amount of space available inside.

All shops have be fully customizable interiors and can be modified to match the aesthetic of the owner. The exteriors of shops, however, cannot be modified.

List of shops[edit]

North shops[edit]

The Item Barn is a special shop within the Shopping District containing infinite quantities of rare items not obtainable anywhere else on the server. Unlike player shops, this shop lacks an address. It is the first, and largest, shop visible from the North warp.

Claiming a shop[edit]

All players Level 5 or higher are eligible to claim a shop for free. Players are allowed to choose any unclaimed shop they desire so long as they do not already manage a shop. Once a player has made a selection, the preferred way to contact us to redeem a shop is via the ticketing system on our Discord server.

Due to the limited number of shops available, inactive shops are regularly removed. If a player goes offline for an extended period of time (~3mo), or their shop is consistently out-of-stock, their shop may be removed to free space for other players. In this event, the items within the shop will be permanently lost and will not be reimbursed should the original owner return.
